Becca Reid (AISTD)

Teaching – Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro and Contemporary
Becca has been dancing since she was 3 years old. In 2007 she was selected to represent New Zealand at the World Scholar Athlete Games in Rhode Island specialising in dance.
Becca attended the Apollo Theatre School studding ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, singing, drama, nutrition, anatomy and pilates and graduated in 2009. Becca obtained her I.S.T.D Associates teaching qualification in 2012 with a very high level of achievement. Becca then obtained her I.S.T.D Associates Diploma teaching qualification in 2016 again to a high level of achievement. Becca is also trained in Acrobatic Arts achieving Module 1 Certification in 2017, Aerial and Back handspring in 2018 and Module 2 in 2023.
Becca has danced professionally for the Apollo Theatre Company, Ritz Event Entertainment, The Greenhithe Theatre Company and Kim Santarelli Dance Acadamy. She started teaching at the age of 14 as an assistant teacher and became a full time teacher in 2010.
In 2012 she founded Dance Pointe Performing Arts. Becca enjoys interacting with children and loves teaching all aspects of dance and performing arts. She looks forward to another wonderful year working with the talented children at Dance Pointe.
Cara Wallace
Cara has been a dancer at Dance Pointe since 2015, exploring the styles of Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary.
In 2004 Cara represented Dance Pointe, performing at Disneyland, Universal Studios and during masterclasses at Millennium Dance Complex.
Cara's bubbly personality makes classes for younger students fun and engaging. She loves interacting with them and feels joy watching their dance skills grow. Cara truly enjoys being part of their journey at Dance Pointe.
Jessica Lovatt

Relief Teacher
Jess has been dancing since she was 3 years old in various styles and has been teaching junior students at Dance Pointe for 7 years. Jess has now graduated as a qualified Nurse and as such has moved to a relief teacher for Dance Pointe.
In 2024 Jess represented Dance Pointe, performing at Disneyland, Universal Studios and completing masterclasses at Millennium Dance Complex. Jess has also represented Dance Point in various performances at Northwest, Hobsonville Point Rifle Range and other community events.
Jess is looking forward to working with the younger students again this year her bubbly personality and love for dance filters off on the students.
